Zeolite-Loaded Titanium Dioxide Photocatalytic Cement-Based Materials for Efficient Degradation of Drinking Water Disinfection Byproduct Trichloroacetamide

A two-step method was used to load TiO 2 on a cement matrix, and zeolite chosen as intermediate support. @Zeolite composite coated photocatalytic cement-based material (PCM) prepared. Some advanced characterization technologies including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), BET specific surface area (SSA) test were applied characterize the physicochemical properties of as-prepared PCM. Photocatalytic degradation trichloroacetamide (TCAcAm) conducted evaluate its efficiency. Results show that can improve adsorption ability PCM particles dispersed homogeneously providing abundant active sites for reactions. Moreover, reduce negative effect . The synergetic remarkably rate, reaching up 97.8%. holds great promise eliminate water pollution.
